Megan Thee Stallion released a black-and-white trailer on Oct. 28 that casts her as a towering ringmaster presiding over a nightmarish circus. The visual runs ahead of her Hottieween party, set for Oct. 30 at Zouk Nightclub inside Resorts World Las Vegas. The clip arrived Wednesday, and the event follows one day later.
The Houston rapper turned to a horror-themed Facebook group to shape the concept. She asked fans to submit unsettling footage and to weigh in on which animals would work best as masks for the production. "I want to build some creepy animal masks for my spooky circus…what animals would be the freakiest?" she asked. Those suggestions were incorporated into the finished trailer.
The Hottieween celebration runs from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. and is open to guests 21 and older, according to Resorts World. Costumes are required for entry, and the resort has teased special guests and surprises scheduled throughout the night. Megan is working with Cirque du Soleil on the circus-themed event, and her Chicas Divertidas tequila will be served. "Thee circus is coming, and the ringleader is a bad b*tch," she wrote when announcing the event earlier this month.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Pete & Thomas Foundation, which Megan established in honor of her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas. The foundation runs programs in education, housing, health and wellness, and community goodwill for women, children, older adults and underserved communities. Tickets and table reservations are sold through Zouk.
Megan has returned to horror-adjacent material before. In 2019, she starred as a private investigator in the web series Megan Thee Stallion P.I. in Hottieween, directed by Teyana Taylor and featuring Dave East. That project was set in the fictional Stallion County and drew on campy horror films and Blaxploitation heroines. The new trailer relocates that material to a circus setting.
The trailer is available to view online ahead of the Oct. 30 party.
